EDUCATION

Mtre Nguyen obtained his law degree from Université de Montréal in 2014.

He also obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in North American Common Law from Université de Montréal in 2017.

He holds a certificate in Chinese international law from the China University of Political Science and Law of Beijing.

BIOGRAPHY

Mtre Nguyen works in our business law department. His practice largely involves the acquisition/sale of companies and various commercial transactions, where he negotiates, advises and draws up the necessary agreements and documentation.

He also drafts and reviews all types of contracts relating to the operation of a business, including shareholder agreements, commercial leases, service contracts, distribution agreements, rollover agreements, offers to purchase, letters of intent, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, contracts of sale or purchase, and movable hypothecs. His practice also requires his involvement in certain litigation cases, including real estate and commercial litigation.

Mtre Nguyen is a law graduate of Université de Montréal (class of 2014). After having completed the Barreau du Québec’s examination, he went on to obtain his Juris Doctor degree in North American Common Law from the Université de Montréal.

Before joining our firm, Mtre Nguyen worked at a large regional law firm where he acquired significant experience in civil litigation, commercial law, real estate law and business law. His litigation experience has enabled him to represent individuals and businesses before various judicial and administrative bodies in Quebec.

Over the course of his professional career, he has also gained experience in business and corporate law, particularly in the drafting and review of various business agreements. He has also been involved in various corporate sales transactions (sale of shares/assets) as well as corporate governance matters.

With his business acumen and legal skills, he is able to clearly identify his clients’ needs and advise them judiciously and pragmatically through all stages of their case. This approach allows him to offer practical and personalized solutions, taking his clients’ interests and needs into account.
