BIOGRAPHY

Mtre Sonia Lemay-Naït completed her collegial studies at O’Sullivan College in Montreal in 2020 where she studied Paralegal Technology. She then continued her education at the University of Ottawa, where she earned a license in law in 2023, distinguishing herself by graduating summa cum laude and receiving the silver medal for the second-highest GPA in the civil law program.

After completing her professional training program at L'École du Barreau du Québec in 2024, Mtre Lemay-Naït completed her legal internship in the legal department of a municipality located on Montreal’s North Shore, focusing primarily on public law litigation and civil liability.

In this role, she had the opportunity to collaborate on several cases involving real estate developers and citizens before the courts, particularly in urban planning matters. She was also involved in large-scale cases brought by insurers seeking compensation for damage to their policyholders' property. 

Seeking to broaden her professional horizons, Mtre Lemay-Naït joined our firm in May 2026 to refocus her practice on real estate and construction law. She now practices within the civil and commercial litigation and real estate law team.

Known for her compassionate approach, her ability to listen, and her negotiation skills, Mtre Lemay-Naït places great importance on understanding her clients’ needs and finding tailored solutions.

Furthermore, her experience working at a medical clinic during her studies allowed her to develop a particular sensitivity to her client’s realities and a constant commitment to supporting them.

Mtre Lemay-Naït speaks and writes fluently in both French and English.
