Zachary Fecteau obtained his Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in Natural Sciences from Cégep de Saint-Jérôme in 2020. He then pursued his legal studies at Université Laval, where he earned his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in 2025.

From the outset of his university studies, Zachary developed a strong interest in real estate law and business law. These areas quickly captured his attention due to the wide range of legal issues they encompass and the important role they play in the projects and activities of both individuals and businesses. Following the completion of his law degree, he began his professional training at the Québec Bar School in 2025.

Zachary joined the LANE Lawyers team in January 2026 as a law student before commencing his articling term with the firm in June 2026. As part of his articling experience, he actively contributes to a variety of files, allowing him to apply the knowledge acquired throughout his legal studies while supporting the firm’s lawyers in a wide range of mandates.

Rigorous, methodical, and analytical, Zachary is recognized for his attention to detail and commitment to excellence. His ability to establish strong relationships with clients, combined with his interpersonal skills, enables him to provide attentive and professional support tailored to each client’s needs. He is also committed to making a positive difference in the lives of clients by assisting them with diligence, empathy, and professionalism in finding solutions suited to their particular circumstances.

Zachary will continue his professional training with LANE Lawyers through the completion of his articling term and is expected to be called to the Québec Bar in December 2026. He approaches this important stage of his career with enthusiasm and determination, motivated by a desire to continue growing professionally and to contribute meaningfully to the success of the mandates entrusted to him.
